Each evening, we enjoy a wonderful mealtime as the Marriott staff rolls out the red carpet... followed by a time of concert ministry!
Beyond the wonderful fellowship around the banquet tables, you'll be inspired by the wide spectrum of musical styles coupled with a heart for ministry as we open our first evening together with a concert experience you won’t soon forget! Danny Murray & the Voices of Lee will join us for an entire evening of concert ministry. Several years ago, in their debut appearance at Choral Festival, they sang four songs for us… and got four standing ovations! You are in for an incredible evening of musical excellence, coupled with powerful ministry value, as Danny and the Voices conclude our first day of The Gathering together!
Then on Tuesday evening we'll be joined by FORMER PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH (well, not really).
Noted George Bush impersonator John Morgan will bring us an evening with a different twist with some comedy on tap. Born with an uncanny likeness to the 43rd President, John’s mannerism, Texas drawl, and comedic talents compose a hilarious but respectful impression of the former leader. You’re set for an evening that is unusual, entertaining, and fun! From his parody of the famous George Bush faux pas to his inspiring message that he really desires to impersonate a King, not a former president, you’ll find yourself amazed and laughing loudly regardless of your political preferences.
Plus, Tuesday morning ends with a devotional segment led by Caz McCaslin, founder and President of Upward Unlimited. Caz and the ministry of Upward Basketball (now coupled with offerings in soccer, flag football, cheerleading and even cricket (in South Africa!) has impacted churches literally around the world. Caz, known for his infectious energy and enthusiasm, will inspire and challenge each of us during our Tuesday mid-day devotional time…just before your “afternoon off”!
Throw in great clinicians like, Randy Vader, Jay Rouse, David T. Clydesdale and Marty Parks; along with special program guests like Jeff Smith, and you've got an incredible program of practical help as well as enriching encouragement!
